nada soma is a collaborative creative practice founded by James and Will, offering intentional space for reflection, movement, expression, and inner work.
Centred on presence, the practice draws on ritual, meditation, sound, movement, and simple acts of attention, allowing experience to unfold naturally.
Moving fluidly between ceremony and everyday life, nada soma recognises ritual as an ongoing practice rather than a contained event. Informed by contemplative traditions and expressed through contemporary forms, the work continues to evolve with intention.
Will, of Māori-European heritage, is a Musical Artist, certified Hatha Yoga Teacher, and Ceremonial Tea Facilitator. His work focuses on mindfulness and embodiment, shaped by rhythm, simplicity, and attentiveness to the body.
James draws from his Punjabi background and training as a Musical Artist, holding a Bachelor of Music, a Diploma in Sound Production, and a Certified Breath-Work facilitator. His practice is informed by long-term study and embodiment in Meditation, Kriya Yoga, Nada Yoga, Sound-Based Practices, and Eastern Philosophy.
Together, James and Will guide nada soma as an evolving practice, prioritising presence over performance, process over outcome, and depth over definition.

Immersive Ceremony
The Immersive Ceremony is a facilitated space for reflection, movement, and expression. While often held in alignment with the New and Full Moons, these ceremonies are not limited to lunar dates and can be offered at other times as well.
Each ceremony is accessible and open to all, with no prior experience required. The space is supported by practices such as sacred plant medicine including cacao, mantra, hybrid guided meditation, breathwork and sound bath elements.
Together, these practices form a cohesive container that encourages presence and embodied awareness.
Tea In CeremonyTea Ceremony centres on mindfulness and presence through the simple, attentive act of drinking tea. Using high-end, rare Chinese teas and traditional tea-ware, this ceremony honours the depth, lineage, and quiet refinement of tea practice.
This is a space of gentle awareness rather than instruction, where participants are invited to observe sensations, thoughts, and feelings as they come and go, supported by the subtle intelligence of the tea itself.
We also hold tea ceremony & sound combined for a deeper immersion for rest, regulation and relaxation
Sacred SoundSacred Sound is offered through live sound sessions, sound baths, and curated recordings for personal, studio, and professional use. In live settings, sound is used to support presence, relaxation, and subtle attunement, creating environments where participants can settle, move, or rest within their own experience.
Alongside live offerings, nada soma produces curated sound recordings for wellness spaces, as well as original music created for meditation and ecstatic movement.
These works may be experienced through listening or performance and are designed to support atmosphere, rhythm, and embodied engagement without imposing structure or demand.
BreathworkBreathwork is a powerful anchor to assist in calming the mind, regulate emotions and help you feel grounded and steady through life. We offer various breathwork practices ranging from Yogic Pranayama to more activating and transformative Conscious Connected Breathing sessions.
The breath is the glue between the many aspects of the self - body, mind, emotions, energy and spirit. Backed by science and seen across many spiritual traditions it is a source for clarity and inner transformation.
Chanting and MantraChanting and Mantra sessions invite participants into shared vocal practice through sacred mantras, primarily drawn from Sanskrit traditions. Influenced by Hindu kirtan, Buddhist chanting, and devotional forms, these sessions emphasise rhythm, repetition, and collective resonance.
Chanting is held as a participatory and exploratory practice rather than performance. Participants are welcome to engage through voice, listening, movement, or stillness. Allowing the sound and vibration to be experienced within the body as a means to connect to ones inner landscape and quiet the mind.
